    OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Well, my point is that I don't think it's possible to trade over wifi with Leafgreen.

Aww...I haven't ever tried Nuzlocke, but it sounds pretty depressing.

    ^Ooh, I'd definitely appreciate that.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    My brother has Heart Gold.

Actually, it is possible to trade in Leaf Green!

Here's what I found on the net-

Go to this site. It's the XIII section- the Sevii Islands quest!
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Um...where exactly? I'm failing my spot check.

Incidentally, a hilarious conversation between me and my roommate:

Me:"You know, before I fight the Elite Four, I should go catch Raikou."

Roommate:"Oh, come on, that will take you forever!"

    -five minutes pass-

    Me:"Got him."

    Roommate:O.O

Celio, Bill's buddy, is currently working on the machine. He will explain he
is attempting to connect Hoenn's PC system with Kanto's, but the machine
doesn't have enough power to do so. That's where you come in. You need to
find an alternate power source to activate the machine by finding a Ruby and
Sapphire (har har!) and slapping them into the machine. Of course, they
aren't just going to come to you. We have some 'sploring to do. Bill will
give you a Tri-Pass, allowing you to take the Hydrospeed boat between One,
Two, and Three Islands. He will also give you a Meteorite (more refrence to
Ruby/Sapphire or just a coincidence?) to deliver to a scientist on Two
Island. Finally, Bill hands over a Town Map if you've gone this far in the
game without it. Extra pages containing the Sevii Islands are automatically
    added. Coolio.

Of course, it only lets you trade with Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. But hey. With a
bit of juggling, you can still manage -shrug-
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    Ah, I see.

But does it work over Wi-fi?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Yes.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Seriously? On a GBA game? I didn't even know that was possible.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Ah, yes. I'm working on doing that so I can transfer everything to my main file.

But that just lets you get them onto your DS game. I thought we were talking about trading over the internet.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
I believe you can, but I'm still looking it up. I found that ^^ while searching for info.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Yes. You can trade via wi-fi- but not over the whole world. Only within like... 10 feet -_-
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Yeah...I think we're a bit farther apart than that -_-
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Yes.

But that's only if you can't like... save, then turn it off and plug in one of the DS games >_<
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Note to self: a level 40 Electrode using Rollout can and will defeat Zapdos in one set of attacks without being able to stop. Don't do that.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Note to self: As awesome as the idea of a dual Psychic/Steel type with Levitate is, if it takes forever to level up and has crap SP ATK, it probably sucks.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Huh.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
I used to calculate catch rates by hand, but have you seen the formula for that?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
I have. It's the one maths thing I can do, as I've used it so much.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    ;~;

Told you all my Pokemon were weak to it. A Zubat just one-shotted my Geodude with Giga Drain.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
And I lost Prinplup to a Skuntank's Night Slash -sigh-
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Found a Revive. Decided it's free game, else I'm screwed against my rival -shrug-
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
So...someone on the other forum speculated that the Wii U controller might make a perfect camera for Pokemon Snap. I want that to be true so badly...why haven't they released a Pokemon Snap 2 yet?
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
Pokémon seems to be getting so complicated these days that if I got into it I'd be living and breathing it all day long and that would not be a good thing.  Also, there is yet no Pokémon MMORPG.

    > Zubat
    > Giga Drain

Wait, since when was Zubat a powerful pokémon?
  • Why would you want a Bidoof?  By Thor... seriously.
When I wanted a Pokémon challenge, I completed Pokémon Red with the gameboy held upside-down.... THEN I did it in the dark by sound alone.
Then after Pokémon Colosseum I lost the will to play and never touched a Pokémon game again.... so I have no clue what has happened since the reboot and all that.

My advice... Get your hands on a Flying type. They're common enough in every game. Find the equivalent to a Pidgey ... rather than a Ratatta clone (e.g. Bidoof).
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
^Bear in mind that in Nuzlocke, you're only allowed to catch the first Pokemon you see in a given area. It's kinda hard to be picky.
  • ^ Don't patronise me. I know that.  Why do you think I was suggesting common ones?
Besides... I still don't understand WHY anyone would do something so ... well.... fun-destroying.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    Ah, fair enough, then.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
So I'm writing out a to-do list of things I still need to do in HeartGold.

    It's already five pages D:
  • Kichigai birthday!!
    @Op You don't even have a Starly?
