    You can change. You can.
As long as it isn't that stupid unkempt semi-wavy Hollywood hair.

    Hmmm? How do you mean?

Also, yeah hair is important as well. When done right, it really helps to enphasize the better traits of a woman's face.

^ I like butts, myself,  but I still prefer the stuff that I can see all the time, you know? I can't see a woman's breasts all the time, but I can see her face and appreciate it all the time. Same goes to her legs.
  • A cute smile, too. Nothing ruins it for me like an overbite, it's never too late to get a decent pair of braces.

Don't care much for butts, and legs is the same as breasts, it all depends on how they're dressed. Could care less about shaved or not.

As for hair: for heaven's sake, don't go overkill on the colouring if highlights or a cute accesoire can suffice.

This. Seriously, artificial hair =/= good looking.

I don't mind hair coloring. Even rainbow can be done well (see here). But black hair will always be my favorite, followed by brown. I don't much like blonde.
  • You can change. You can.
Yeah, but I'd say that is the good distribution of color plus the hair shape what makes it attractive, not the hair itself.

I like brown, red and blonde equally, actually. Although I do have a fondness for black. Especially with some flashes of red...
  • Blonde goes best with punky or natural looks. Short with highlights or long without make-up and perhaps in a summerdress if the weather lends itself to it.

Brunette combos best with a petite posture and narrow glasses, but that's me extrapolating from a girl at the frat who rocks said look.

I think this tends to happen a lot--basing our opinions on certain pinnacle examples of something.

Better idea: Here's an example of a pretty attractive woman, Daniela "Danka" Hantuchova.  Bunch of photos on a Slovakian website here: http://nemes.blog.sme.sk/c/217174/Australian-Open-2010-Daniela-Hantuchova-zapas-fotografie.html
  • Hmm, most of the time it's just a mix of traits I prefer that are placed into one person and become more than the sum of their parts. She's by no means a pinnacle example: her mode of dress is a tad boring and her knot could use more care. /nitpick

    Girl's gonna end you

I actually like that kind of stuff. Aggresive women and all that.

Yeah, funny thing was that once upon a time I found myself thinking about what would my ideal girlfriend look like, and then quickly discovering that I found attractive a number of girls who look nothing like that.

I'd prefer someone more assertive as well. I lack the energy for leading a conversation.
  • You can change. You can.
Who was talking about a conversation? ;)

Innuendo aside, no, see, I like assertiveness, but I don't like someone leading a conversation. I believe that a relationship should be based around equality. Except in the bedroom. And there, it only counts if you're both into that. Apart from that, either side leading on anything always leads to trouble on the long run.

Well, leading was the wrong choice of words. "Initiating" would work better. I can carry myself just fine in a conversation once started, but I often don't start them, especially when it involves a group.

And assertive would also hopefully come with energetic, chipper, and forgiving, to compensate for my-- never mind, this is getting into the territory of ideals.

    Saaaaaaaaaay it...hiiiiiiiisssssssssss /Lol temptation.

I dunno, actually, when I look back at the only two relationships I've had, I notice that she always initiated the conversations I've had...I find that odd as I'm the one who contantly approaches people...>_>
  • This thread was about bodies, not personalities, dammit.

As for assertiveness, I'd like to meet halfway: she drags me out for new stuff, I tow her to gigs and game nights.

But yeah, Danka should prove my point that a (well, nearly) flat chest and a slender figure can be totally hot too.
  • Well, the average gal doesn't have such an atlethic build, so the comparison sort of falls flat.

    *is shot*

Works well with a petite build too.  That said, it does depend on the person.

Not to mention that I'll quite easily find very attractive people whom I don't as physically attractive but whose personalities I really adore.
  • Whole package type of person here. If their personality sucks, it's easier for me to spot phyiscal flaws, and if they're not that attractive any emotional flaw will land them in the category 'compensating for lack of self-esteem/body issues'.

If she has a swell personality/interests, she'll smile more/probably dress in a fashion that ticks some geeky turn-ons.
