Yes mum, I KNOW I had the grades of Uni. But my college has the course I wanted to pursue, besides which. Adam Smith College has the best equipment for media production in Scotland and I can get my degree there any way. THAT'S why I'm there rather than at Uni.

    ^^ I'm guessing you're from America? From what I've seen (now I may be totally WRONG here but still), what you guys call Community College, we call College and what you guys call College we call University.

    Well, if your college has the best media production equipment in your country, I don't see any reason to say it sucks just because it's a college rather than a university.

    That said, Community Colleges over here have a pretty strong stigma (in some, but not all, cases rightfully so; my mom was an English teacher at one and some of her students literally could not write a sentence) so that's presumably why people would react that way to it.

    Hmm, college here is called MBO(practical education, shit tier), HBO(profession-oriented education, can get into university easier, sometimes even handier due to practical skills) and university itself.

    Community College > University. You get the same education for 1/3rd of the cost.

    I'm glad I went to Macomb Community College's Media and Communication Arts program and not CCS's for like 3 times as much.
