I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
In them we have people from all over the world saying how their age limit is the best and anything over or under would be weird, so they are all arguing from their own tradition.

There doesn't seem to be any attempt at real cross cultural moral understanding, as each troper is basically sticking to theirs due to tradition.

    I would like OTC to be the "serious discussions" forum.

    That's what it's supposed to be.

    However, from what I know of it, it's the "these are topics that are controversial and flame-baity, and have little bearing on the site's purpose or main interests (i.e. tropes and media), and would require a lot of moderation to deal with effectively" forum.

    13 is Spanish AoC.

    So only the lower range should cause that reaction about seriousness?
    (The lower end being around 10-13 in this case)

    I had to re edit as I was wrong (Portugal is 14 Poland was 15) and then found Spain which has 13 as their AoC.
    So Spain is wrong?

    I don't really want to date a 13 year old myself, but I feel the "my culture is right" thing in this irritating when arguing for universal AoC, as it clearly won't work like that. 

    Also I don't agree with Moral Absolutism, so I don't regard one culture as 'more right' either.
