To be honest, the real reason I was reluctant to check out My Little Pony aside from the fact I was never interested in the first place was that I am leery of anything that looks like it should be for girls, but has a primarily male following (blame moe anime for that). Though if I sat through K-ON! for one episode, I might as well.

Well, there is no MLP Merch here. If there were, maybe FIM would be broadcasted here and there may follow a DVD release with the original English dub (and that would be great, since the hypothetical German dub would probably be inferior). But there is none here, so there's no hope.

If you liked the pilot, you're probably going to like every other episode, except maybe the one or two that even some fans dislike. The pilot is probably your best bet if you want to form an incomplete understanding and negative opinion of the series.
