    Just look for an online stream. There's no need to download an entire series until you have seen a few episodes first.

    @ Icalasari: The series has some odd pacing. the first few episodes are a straightforward mecha show (with some lulls in the action to make way for quiet drama.), it becomes even more straightforward with Asuka along for the ride in the first few episodes after 8. @ 16, some of the darker clouds start settling in. @ 18, all hell breaks loose. by 24/25, any and all narrative grinds to a halt.

    I dunno, it worked for me. What didn't work, though, was the combo in Rebuild. Although the one during the fight with the possessed EVA kinda worked.

    So I am on episode 7-8 I think (2nd episode with Asuka/Auskah) in it, and I accidentally posted my first episode reaction too early.

    So I just borrowed the DVDs for the TV series and End of Evangelion from my friend.

    So... I'll probably watch this this week.  But probably not today or tomorrow because holy crap so much anime to catch up on.
