    Apparently, only compared to the sub though. I have heard the first episodes, but I doubt it's superterrible. I just need to hear the laughs, screeches and screaming to tell if they at least tried to stay in spirit.

    I'm generally pretty forgiving of dubs in general, but the Higurashi English dub made me cry blood.

    Well I'm pretty sure the DVDs also have the Japanese audio and English subtitles, so it's not like it matters...

    The only shows that don't are like... kids shows and sometimes really old shows.

    Well... the Flintstones doesn't have Japanese audio I guess... but obviously that's not what I'm talking about since it's not anime.  And Chargeman Ken was never dubbed in the first place... I think.

    I mean how Pokemon DVDs are dub only as far as I know.  And of course, if a show is sufficiently old that like, it's only available on VHS or something, there's obviously no choice for audio, so if it's dubbed, there's not going to be an option to watch it subbed.
