    Tableflipper
    Image isn't working for me.

    Okay, nevermind.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
KILL THE PIG! SPILL HIS BLOOD!

    KILL HIM TO DEATH!
  • Yeah, I realized that, then found a different source for the same image.  Should work now.
  • I wonder what they were saying in Japanese? Also, I laughed like a twat, until I saw Kamina's picture, at which point I stood up and fucking saluted like the nerd I fucking am.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
Why is Japan so redundantly redundant?

I'm pretty sure in most of those it's just an idiom that doesn't really work when translated into English.
  • I think the One Piece one is just him being stupid, though.

Not sure since it's been a while since I watched that.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I think Crimson Echoes should have a sequel.
  • a little muffled
My immediate reaction was to say something about Golden Sun, but then I remember that they made a Golden Sun 3, and it was awesome.

Fuck, man, it's been over half a year and that still hasn't sunken in fully.

They call me Rate Miser, whatever I see... turns overrated in my eyes...

^^ There is, it's called Chrono Cross.

No, there's no need, and it's not like the CE developers would make one anyway.

  • Morgan Freeman is God
I want a sequel to Chrono Cross for no other reason than to explain what the hell that ending was about.

    ^ Good luck with that.

EDIT: I meant making heads or tails out of the ending with a sequel.

    Poot dispenser here
    @Not dying when killed:

You forgot Kane. He never dies.
  • Except Chrono Trigger had unresolved plot points, like what happened to Schala and what exactly the "Entity" was.

Does this necessitate a sequel, though?
  • no longer cuddly, but still Edmond
That's exactly what I was getting at with my response. Why do "unresolved plot points" automatically warrant sequelage?
  • Don't questions deserve to be answered? Don't loose ends deserve to be tied up, since nothing else will come out? I mean loose ends in general, I'm not necessarily a fan of the Chrono series.
  • no longer cuddly, but still Edmond
See, thing is, if you have any sort of complex setting or situation, there is going to be an unanswered question. Probably hundreds. That's sort of the whole nature of "complexity" right there.

Sometimes, there's really just no natural or plausible way to answer a question--both in terms of coming up with an answer, and in terms of making sure the heroes (and by extension, the players) find it. In these cases, you simply have no choice but to leave things to the realm of speculation.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
Well, you always can ask more and more questions going deeper into how a fictional setting isn't like real life.
  • Even if a question needs to be answered, it doesn't always need to be in the form of a sequel. Somebody once wondered whether Dumbledore ever found true love.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
And sometimes Word Of God says let the fans decide.  IIRC Daisuke Amaya, a.k.a. Pixel, has taken this stance on some Cave Story setting details.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
I don't get the bottom frame.
