The argument that Glee is "making TV too gay".

  • I'd actually make the argument more towards that Glee is awful for gay people. I hear claims of it being a "gay positive" show, but it's really incredibly hurtful for the whole gay community. It basically goes back to the insulting portrayal of gay people as creepy, prancing, effeminate, Madonna-worshiping fairy queens - ie. "faggots". It's honestly one of the worst portrayals of gays I've seen in a long time, and I have absolutely no idea why it seems to get a pass for its stereotypical and outdated portrayal.
  • On that note, I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Are there any other gay characters other than the annoying one (sorry to his fans)?
  • There was a closeted gay student at another school... Who the annoying one had a crush on and basically stalked and continuously harassed him about being in the closet.
  • ...So, when you say stalked...
