But it's like this.

Copy and paste the raw code from pastebin (not the numbered stuff since it doesn't work), then you go to the Greasemonkey button in the far left corner with the monkey face, right click it and go to New User Script. Choose a name/namespace and/or description, then press okay. The code you copied already has the Includes line so don't worry about that. Paste it, save it, and then in the var ignorelist part add names like so:

var ignorelist=["Person 1", "Person 2", "etc."];

Then you are done.

And then again you would have to be able to turn off Greasemonkey to do so.

Well I don't use ignore scripts since I don't like to not see what's going on, not to mention that I have a position of responsibility that requires that I have easy access to everything.

That's weird because most mods/admins on sites I go to regularly ignore people they dislike, instead of just poststalking them and warning/banning them when they get out of line.

That's Gaiaonline for you. You can practically fucking BUY a moderator position on that site. Never said they were smart though. Either way, that's only like 30% of the little moderators. The Admins are still competent, albeit a bit ugly looking.

And that also reminded me that a long time ago in 2007, if you had a moderator/admin on your ignore list, they could not add warnings to your account or ban you because that would send a PM to your account and an email to your email address, and it would refuse to do the action until the PM was allowed to be sent. That was the best year ever.

^^ I don't think that's what they are getting at from what I know, but since you used the "ALLCAPS" thing I have no idea what you are really trying to convey. Perhaps they are just leaving one of those "Fuck you, and goodbye!" speeches. You know, the ones your boss gives you when they fire you, or the teacher does when they send you out of the room, or when your girlfriend/boyfriend comment on you when you leave the house or lose some kind of metaphorical argument.

I'm trying to convey the general stupidity at doing such a thing. See, all that causes is more drama. Besides, my point is that if you're ignoring someone, then you shouldn't flaunt it. You dislike the person, yes, but 

A) IMO, it's an implied personal attack (You don't ignore people who you think are cool. You onlly ignore people who you think are flawed. Like "Stupid-Flawed" or "Boring-Flawed")

As I said before, it only leads to more drama.

For what it's worth, us moderators don't like ignore scripts, because they enable undercurrents of drama.

There is a good chance they may be banned soon.

I don't really have any use for the ignore list myself, since I'm too lazy to use it and find it easier to just scroll over posts I don't like.  That being said, a "condense thread" button would be very useful, as that way I could get a general idea of what is going on without having to scroll past a ton of posts.

Okay, here's what I'm talking about.  The ignore script that you devised (or that you have posted, even if you weren't the one to write it) allows people to find out who you're ignoring, indirectly.  Remember that time that you used up-carats to point to a post, and then it was the wrong one?
