^ Yeah, just don't overdo it.
No, I was referring to the blushing and licking thing. I would *like* to be a blue unicorn though...
I am the only good fan of anything, ever.
...which is what a lot of fans seem to think.
Logos tend to create quite a neutral effect, since I find them a bit lifeless. Album covers are different; they can range from seeming cynical to confident and personable depending on the artwork.
I do this for my own avatars as well. Spike, Luke, Clyde etc. made me feel quite childish, while there's something oddly confidence-boosting about being the Doctor, Amy Pond, Terezi or James Lester. Daiyousei, Rainbow Dash and the Apple Blossom fairies made me feel calm and cheerful, while the Anti-Spiral, Shoshanna Dreyfus, The Power to Believe and Guy Fawkes made me feel more cynical. I think it actually affects the content of my posts.
Also, yes, it is jarring when I see something like Fluttershy say something snarky or a grim-faced marine say something cheery.
Because Bobby and me are one and the same.Actually, I think At this point i've gotten to understand certain frequent posters enough that their particular personas transcend how I see them in their Avatars. Like Rottweiler. No matter what the avatar I think.... how I understand Rott speaking through diffeent mouths.
