My Baby Brother Called Me Superman.
I have a baby brother. He's 18 Months old, he doesn't say a lot of words but he clearly understands them, and the concepts behind them, so he can express ideas and recognize objects. So one day, I was sitting with him in my room and I said to him; "Evan, who is Superman". I expected him to point at my poster, instead he pointed at me and said "You!". I thought this was cute, and lovely and I laughed about it. Then it dawned on me.
I'm going to have to BE Superman for him.
See he doesn't have much family really, our mum isn't close with her family and his dad is an orphan and a lazy alcoholic who comes and goes out of the child's life as he pleases. I'm the only male role model he has. I'm 17 years older than him, so I'll be well into adulthood as he grows up but I'm scared. See I'm a lazy, snarky, anti social prick with a violent temper. I don't want any of that to rub off on him.
So, to be a good big brother I'm going to have to be like Superman for him.
But knowing me, I'll end up like the Sentry.

Because it is.
Of course, it's not very hard to call me that, since I am. ~Awesome~. (Take note of my avatar...)
@OP:You're fortunate to have such a brother; consider this motivation to be better. Good people bring out the best in others, so if you have weaknesses, then your brother can be your strength.
