  • You can change. You can.
Taking into account that Jackie Chan has yet to kill a dog for licking a kid's face, I have to go with the Paedofinder General as the reckless, loose trigger cop.
  • Well, glad that there is no hard feelings.

I will try to stay off IJBM more while at school, though.

    Is this probation permenant?
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.

    He was a Paedodog.

    Is this probation permenant?

It is in place for the foreseeable future.

Maybe if you're still here when you're like... thirty.
  • So it is?

Can I appeal this in any way? Because if I can't make topics here, I don't see any reason to stay here.

I was also never informed of this probation. I was only informed of being banned.

I expect to be told of these kinds of things when I am banned. The only thread mentioning probations is deep in the forum pages (I didn't even know they existed until today).

If probations were in created and put into effect during my ban period, I would have expected to be informed that a probation was ret-conned into my punishment.

    See you then.
  • I will stay. I am, however, very annoyed at how you (the staff) never informed me of this probation/ret-conned it into my punishment.
  • If I could ask a question, Exactly what does the Probation label do anyway?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Oh well.

The rules are the way they are for a reason. I see no reason for you to be exempt from them.

Counterclock: It prevents you from making threads. It is something we apply to people who are on their very last leg here.
  • Prevents you from making threads.
  • You can change. You can.
Welp, how are we supposed to tell you? We don't have your email or any way of contacting you out of this site.
  • "The rules are the way they are for a reason. I see no reason for you to be exempt from them."

    That's not what I mean.

What I mean is the fact that I was given a probation without even knowing it exists. And that Everest said I was only being banned. Prosecute me to the fullest extent of those rules, but tell me those rules in the first place.

    Belief
Technically, the mods have his email I think.

But even still, I don't think it's wise to contest what the mods have done for now.

@Chagen: what's done is done, the rules changed because the site is trying to get itself together.
  • "Welp, how are we supposed to tell you? We don't have your email or any way of contacting you out of this site."

    psychobillyf@yahoo.com

The mods should know that. I have to use it to sign, like everyone else.
  • Counter: I'm not contesting what the mods did. I'm just...annoyed at this unprofessional handling of my ban.
  • You can change. You can.
Well, to be perfectly honest and blunt, we just didn't care.

Also, you can't really expect us to let you waltz in after two bans and simply give you all the benefits the site has. Your threads have caused way too much problems, we decided to cut the middleman and eradicate the source of the problem.

Please do not accuse people of that just because they hampered your ability to make threads on a relatively unimportant internet forum.'

    Also ^
  • Meh, you could always PM someone to make a thread for you.

Or derail threads to be about your topics.

  • I hesitate to say this, because I don't know if it's out of line, but...at this point you should really just be thankful you were let back in at all. Most forums don't give a third chance.

"Please do not accuse people of that just because they hampered your ability to make threads on a relatively unimportant internet forum."

It's also my favorite forum of all time.

"Also, you can't really expect us to let you waltz in after two bans and simply give you all the benefits the site has. Your threads have caused way too much problems, we decided to cut the middleman and eradicate the source of the problem."

Jusy because my sheer presence causes people to go into massive rage doesn't mean that my ability to be make threads should be banned because they yelled for it loud enough.

Also, do you doubt my ability to get better?
  • You can change. You can.

No. But it wasn't just their rage what got you banned and you know that damn well, so stop pinning your problems on other people.

Also, do you doubt my ability to get better?

What would you prefer? A well placed lie or a misplaced truth that will get me thumped?

Anyway, I think that sentence implies what I think.
  • Can everyone just separate yourselves from this topic right now.

@Chagen. Like I said before, What's done is done, take it up with Mods in PMs if you want to discuss probation.

Turning this into a mess isn't going to prove anything.
  • "No. But it wasn't just their rage what got you banned and you know that damn well, so stop pinning your problems on other people."

I am not allieving myself of my transgressions.
  • "@Chagen. Like I said before, What's done is done, take it up with Mods in PMs if you want to discuss probation.

I will do that later today.

I make my leave. If anyone wishes to continue these discussions, PM me.
  • Chagen has a point. Not making rules retroactive and informing the affected people before they come into effect is Legislation for Dummies. Just because Chuggles is Chuggles it doesn't mean you didn't screw up.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Yeah, we acknowledge that. We screwed up there.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
^^Note that we've changed his permissions.
  • Yeah, I checked the Activity section before reading the thread, and that wasn't the vibe I was getting from the replies. In any case, that's settled, then.
  • Well, here I am. Some of you may know me. Probably not. Hope I'm less of a moron than I was when this place existed on TVT.
  • WELL FINALLY.

    Also, who are you?
