Man, am I the only one who was immensely dissatisfied by the way the ending treated Skull Kid? I can't believe that they bullshitted a happy ending for the prick who deserved it the least.

I mean, the Skull Kid's a really really really unsympathetic character when you think about it. He ruins innocent people's lives because he's too stupid and immature to see past his own needs. A much more satisfying ending would be Link punching the Skull Kid so hard his beak falls off. That would be pretty amusing, wouldn't it.

Can't believe I used to feel sorry for the fucker. Gah.

Meh, the worst he did was petty theft. After he put on the mask, he's a puppet in the hands of Majora, especiallly since he is an angsty bastard.

Skull Kid was little more than a bratty child before he put on the mask. Majora's Mask took control of his body, basically using him as a puppet because the Mask thought it would be fun.

You also have to remember that Skull Kid, being a Skull Kid, was a child who got lost and died in Kokiri Forest and was resurrected as a revenant as a result. His last mortal memories would have been of pain, fear and desperation.

Actually, this particular Skull Kid was stated to have existed since before Termina was created, which means he probably predates Kokiri Forest.

Yes, if you go to the Lost Woods as an adult he's in his usual place, but will attack you. If you kill him he drops an orange rupee I think.
