    Can someone explain to me, again, the inherent wrongness of "People who" threads?



    It's because, as a title, it puts the focus on the person, rather than the attitude that is actually being complained about, which is a bad way to start a discussion for a variety of reasons, some of which are evidenced in this same thread.


    It also has a long history of being used to make thinly veiled personal attack threads.
