In other words, the next time you hear someone whining about "EU declaring snail a fish" or something like that, you can say the Catholic Church did it first. (Then again, you'd probably do better by invoking the story about tomatoes on pizza in school cafeterias, since that's more directly relevant in America.)
I'm told a capybara was another obviously-not-fish that got declared legally fish for the same reason, but I'm gonna leave that for Storm since it was in his part of the world.
