She responded with "of all the things to unfollow me over." Which...she's not wrong about what she was saying, but I can see why an ultimatum like that would be a last straw.

I saw that too, but I interpreted it to mean that she was indignated because she was unfollowed for a joke.

Either way, yeah, that's pretty much how I feel, really. It's not like she's wrong, but she's treating her friends as if they were internet idiots, which is not cool, really.

Eh, I think people should be able to talk about their issues, or otherwise they fester. Tumblr certainly isn't the best place to do it (or at the very least they should hide it behind a NSFW tag) but still...

She wasn't wrong, certainly, but it's reacting to the issue in a terrible way.

And it may have been facetious, but even as joke it's at the point where enough's enough yanno? And she and others talk about cutting off ties with people for holding positions they find wrong enough that I don't think taking it seriously was unreasonable.

^Right, 9 times out of ten I agree with her cause but she goes about it the complete wrong way to which it's just a chore to be around.

Again, I'm not saying that the fact that she meant it as a joke justifies it. I'm just saying what I see.

My opinion on the matter you were discussing is, either way, something I'd prefer to keep private. Mostly because I'm not even sure how I feel or if the way I feel aligns with what I perceive right (This is hippy talk for "I don't fucking know")

Anyway, gonna try the sleeping thing.

But yeah, I do think it should ideally be private but... some people have problems you know? Not everyone has someone they can talk to in a safe environment and they wrongly see a place like tumblr as a safe environment.

the awkward moment when you brought up a few talking points from the internet about the bible during a conversation and someone suggests starting a bible study group, because you perhaps did not make it clear enough that your religion is "agnostic, by way of half-hearted buddhism and then experiences you could only come to terms with through mystical ecstasy," because it was hard enough to figure out exactly how to put it when you have several minutes to sit down at a keyboard and think about it.

Not anywhere near actually being done; just at a point such that doing stuff will be possible.
