It would be a very poor game if they relied upon writing it out like that.
No, usually they just have essentially the same story for both male and female romances, and then just change minor cosmetics, maybe adding a small scene or two where they angst about not usually being attracted to men/women.
From the sounds of what I'm reading, they're actually planning to have different hetero/gay/lesbian romances, though.
http://www.animecharactersdatabase.com/character.php?id=34068 (The work itself it NSFW, I think)
I like how that website includes "animal ears" on its list of relevant information.
Well, catgirls are a prominent thing.
Well, it just seems like more of a fetish showcase than a character database.
Man, I look at Fate/Zero's quality and compare it to /Stay Night's, and it almost depresses me since I just end up thinking that "this is what Stay Night should have been like".
^^well, it's a database run by animu nerds.
So is TV Tropes, but--
Point taken.
I wonder. If I start a Touhou thread, what are the chances it won't die off rather quickly?
Low.
I'd probably spam a Touhou thread with arrangements of Zun's music, for whatever that's worth.
Also, cool idea for a character class in a game: Plague Doctor. In more "realistic" settings, it takes the place of Cleric, but a practitioner of medicine that also knows poisons. The theme here is that an arcane strain of the Black Death doesn't outright kill its victims, but warps them. So the Plague Doctor's antidotes have offensive application, too. Plus, badass and terrifying beaked mask and black cloak, like a vulturous Ringwraith that brings healing and death in equal measure.
What's wrong with moeshit, again, Alex?
I'm actually finding myself pretty impressed with TOR.
I mean, it has its' problems, but as-is, they've got;
- Pretty extensive single-player campaigns, and they've added Companions to make playing an MMORPG as a single player actually viable. Considering that each of the eight classes have stories, and there's the promise of more, that's actually something.
- The potential for some fairly in-depth roleplaying. The Legacy system in particular that they're planning to expand upon is a roleplayer's wet dream.
- Some actually decent PVP that they've got a fair portion of their development team working on.
I mean, they've got PvP, PvE and RP covered, and none of them are suffering because of a focus on another. And the writing is... on BioWare's usual level, which is to say it's far from perfect but it's so much better than, say, WoW.

Enormous primes, what are they for? Counting. Counting is what they are for!
Weirdest fuckin' game I ever played, but it's fun.
>boss was a giant moaning ass with a tongue coming out of it
>oh gooooooood
what the hell am i reading
Yeah, they're right, I'm not near NYC.
And is that Xenoglossia?
I should probably just stop talking to a certain friend of mine. I thought we had a pretty good understanding of each other after talking about our problems at Anime Boston (yeah, this is the roommate), but he still treats me like shit.
Well, really, I just want to get out of Maine in general, but this is one of the reasons; I want to try making friends who are actually mature.
I'd probably do the Touhou related stuff I haven't done yet so I could post updates and stuff.
Mhh...
My newspaper tells me the Breivik dude spared a Pole (a dude of Polish parents) because he "looked right-wing" to him. I am kind of unsure what to make of it, so I'll say that. Poland: when you're so lame, you can't even get killed by a crazy wacko who crashed your party to kill everyone on it.
Touhou music is ughgghghgh boring. Covers of it are sometimes good (IOSYS for the most part, some others) but in general I don't think it's particularly remarkable. Then again, Touhou in general is kind of boring, I think. I can't really get into it. Dunno why.
The gif Malk posted? That's So Ra No Wo To (or Sora no Woto/Sora no Oto if you prefer less silly looking titles).
You sure? It looks like Chihaya and Haruka from iM@S to me.
I'm sure.

Look at the characters in the picture there.
That said, it's no coincidence that they look similar. The show has something of a music theme, and so the character designs were heavily inspired by both iDOLM@STER and K-ON!.
Oh hey, look, it's Chihaya, Haruka, Yui, Takane, and someone else.
Yeah, A-1 Pictures wasn't exactly being very creative when they designed the characters for that show.
And, amusingly, they were the studio that ended up doing the iDOLM@STER anime a year later.
>Cover with Batman dying by Cain's hand
>Turns out it's Cain bullshitting to a portuguese girl in a bar
A comic has lied to me.
;~;
Forzare is now a mod. You may begin your worship, preferably of the ritual sacrifice variety.
For future reference, I accept sheep sacrifices, the blood of a firstborn son, and virgins. Preferably of the pretty female variety.
