  • Got absolutely fucked by an English test today, and generally felt depressed, lethargic and shitty the whole day. Brightened up slightly after I got some stuff from the career's advisor though.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    I went into St. Vincent De Paul's today. I'm seriously considering volunteering to work there. It's good experience for when I really try and get a paid job, and it's a great place to work at.

  • -jots down St. Vincent De Paul's as a possible location of work in the future-

  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!

    Oh and still no answer from the school. Isn't making me feel any better. >_<

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    Well, it is volunteer-only, you don't get paid for working there.

    MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!

    $60 every day I work, actually.

    Presuming I get the job, of course. ._.

    Unfortunately, you do not work at this store, I would imagine.

    Oh, sorry. I thought you were commenting on what I had just said. I'm sorry. I am dumb. Carry on.

  • Well, it is volunteer-only, you don't get paid for working there.

    I know, but as you said, it'd be good for experience, and I'm much more likely to get hired if I have some of that to begin with.

    Currently the only two volunteer places I know of are Vinny's and Salvos anyway.

    And Vinny's is a great place to work. You can really help a lot of people there.

    Excellent.

    Hopefully that's all Vinny's and not just yours.

    It is kind of the purpose of the stores.

  • Doesn't mean bad people can't do bad things.

    No, it doesn't. But then, that applies to everything.

    I found an old game that I played in Elementary School on the School Computers (so you KNOW it's fucking ancient)

    HOVER!

    The object is to gather three flags before your opponent does. You can gather powerups as you play

    I missed this game so much ;.;

    I scanned the file with Malware Bytes and Avast!, so it should be clean

    You know, it's kind of terrible when someone falls short when compared to a 4Chan troll.

    Has friends besides tanks now

    Got accepted to Susquehanna University and its Honors Program. That's a load off my chest for a little while, but there's still the issue of whether or not I'm accepted to the Creative Writing program; I'm a little worried partly because I'm suddenly lacking confidence in my portfolio, and partly because I decided I'd be speshul and reduce the font of the essay so it would fit. And I used 1.5 spacing instead of 2.

    ^ I worried about my portfolio as well. I got in

    Just calm down
  • Everest - Congratulations!

    Hopefully, the quality of the work will matter more than the font.

  • i hate gender dysphoria

    How do other people deal with these feelings?

  • But you never had any to begin with.

    Badly.

    ...Sorry, that was no help at all, was it? ^_^;
