  • You don't have to put those in.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

You can just give them your e-mail address or your name. That's all that's required.

  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

^Done. Not sure if they'd accept it since I'm not Australian, but worth a shot anyway.

  • ...I don't see how I was supposed to figure that out when they don't have the little red asterisks to show which fields are mandatory and which are optional.

But yeah, I went ahead and did it anyway.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Thanks, to everyone who sent it.

  • You can change. You can.

    So, finished the movie.

I loved it, even if it shows who made it and how much it bothered me at times.

In the beginning of the 21st century, a world war breaks out over interplanetary travel tech.

    Alright. I can accept this.

The environment is pretty much destroyed so mankind leaves Earth and starts Star Calendar 00.

That's... acceptable. I can see that happening.

Entertainment and songs become heavily regulated and eventually banned due to their power to move people,

Uh, okay. I'm not sure that's how it'd be happening, but I can run with that.

but a brave idol group puts on guerrilla performances in the name of a famous act from earlier times that sang to Earth's bitter end, AKB48.

    Oh goddammit.

The illegal revival group's name is... AKB0048.

    Goddammit

  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

    ^I don't get it.

  • I... don't see what's wrong with that really.  It's kind of silly, but there's not anything bad about a premise being silly.

Lovely. Environmental degradation and all the plot cares about is some idol group. The premise sounds just like Final Fantasy X-2.

    This is AKB48:

    ^^^ Puhretty much.

Signed the form for Australian Marriage Equality.

Also, I'm not quite sure what's so horrible about the concept behind AKB48.

  • Cygan's complaints aren't with AKB48 itself, but with the idea that it could be inspirational enough to create a rebellion or whatever.

  • You can change. You can.

That's kinda like complaining about Footloose.

And are you seriously going to complain about Footloose? >:

  • Well, it worked for Final Fantasy X-2, I guess...no it didn't.

I don't see why that's such a terrible fictional concept.

  • You can change. You can.

    FFX2 wasn't a silly musical, though.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    Good morning.

    Good morninoon, INUH.

  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!

The school is supposed to call me today about the job interview.

    ....they haven't.

  • You can change. You can.

Give it a few hours and if they don't, call yourself and ask.

  • Feeling better from being sick last week. I'm bound to have to do makeup work in class though.
  • Malk wants to work at school?

  • Just found out about Cygan leaving BTL (and the drama immediately preceding it).

Well, that was certainly a thing. For such a small forum, I've never known one so prone to drama.

I think it's the combination of Anne's laxness regarding problem users and the unlikelihood of any of those bad users improving after all the previous forums they've been to.

^^ There was a falling out between several people in a thread on the issue of conscription in wartime. I don't want to import drama or misrepresent anyone, so I'll leave it at that.

^ I agree, at least as far as people like Tnu are concerned.
