I found a show.

...it turned out to be the king of all conservative talk shows, the Rush Limbaugh Show.

I suggest that you read Watchmen first. Fairly short, easily readable and it has skippable parts. (Not like they're unenjoyable, but you don't really need to know about suicidal crossdressers)

^^^Elements of Style. I have that book. It's pretty good! Read Watchmen. Want a Lovecraft collection that won't fall apart on me.

^^ Truth be told, I'm not finding it so easy to read because the font and the emphasis on so many words are irritating.

^ I got the American Classics collection, I think it's called. It's an 800 page book that looks half that length, and the design is excellent.

^ I can see how it makes sense, for conveying tone properly, but it's distracting.

On another topic: writing 500 word essays is almost difficult when I can pump out eighty or so words over two sentences without even trying.

You should add 20th Century Boys and Vinland Saga if you haven't read them already.

The latter shouldn't take you too long; the prologue is only eight volumes long.

Heh. It doesn't even seem like a prologue until you get to chapter 54, all the plot points are resolved and you realize the chapter is titled "end of the prologue." This series is going to keep running for awhile.

It's like the author was saying "what, you thought that was my amazing epic? Nah, that was just the boring backstory. Now lemme tell you a real story."

I just wasted several hours playing TF2.  Again.

Total time wasted playing TF2: 55 hours.

I have recently been told that Watchmen might contain some elements similar to what I plan to have in my Kiddy Grade fix fic.

I bought Book 12 of Death Note just to read the ending.

Then I decided to buy issue 1 and 2 to start over again.

I wonder why I bought them, if I have them on my harddrive. I just like owning physical things I guess. Does the artist benefit in any way for me buying them?

I was always confused on how artists profit from big chain stores ordering such books, so it's like


Artist > Printing Company > Book Distributor > Book Store > Buyer

So the Buyer buys the book from the store, the store orders more from the book distributor, the book distributor requests more copies from the printing company, and the artist gets money for the printing company printing his book, right?
