I think using your idea as the leaping point of the thread would be fine, but discussion ultimately has to come down to a more generalised sort of thing. For instance, you might ask "how should I do X in the combat system?". A good answer would be one that discusses multiple answers and why they might be good ideas, and then asks you to choose the one that fits your goals the best, as opposed to talking specifically about one game idea.
It's actually pretty trivial once you know what you're doing. Ruto's certainly quite a bitch and a burden, but even she doesn't make the dungeon much harder. The boss, on the other hand, is probably the hardest in the game in relation to your amount of hearts and the advancement of your equipment. A reasonable challenge, but it also goes to show how trivial the other bosses are.
I'm out now, though. Probably gonna stop here for the night.
I'm kind of surprised that I played 4 and a half hours (according to the 3DS) over the course of today with 3D on full without getting eyestrain or a headache. I would have thought I'd be more affected by it.
^^Yeah, it was the only point I reapeatedly died.
The award for the boss with lowest difficulty in relation to its coolness has to go to Volvagia. Awesome arena. Awesome boss. Ridiculously easy.
I'd give that to Phantom Ganon in the 3DS version. The aiming controls make him really easy to shoot.
I agree with INUH. First person made the boss I struggled with so much so easy. Though being older might have something to do with that.
Beat Arkham City. Didn't expect that ending.
Who did, man. Who did.
I am still annoyed at the fact that I haven't played it and the fact that I was spoiled for it
Oh wow, look at all those checkpoints! I wonder what comes afterwards.
Veni/Vidi/Vici? Pfft, that doesn't look too tou

A good way to tell if you're an utter failure is if you're worse at an 8-bit video game than you are at life.
I warned you. :P
Yikes, they butchered Rayman Origins badly for that 3DS port.
Well, finally beat the 1st level in The Kid's Warp Zone in Super Meat Boy. The 2nd level is even more aggravating! I can't get past that 3rd spike drop cause of how you have to jump onto that platform, leaving you ill prepared. AAAUUUGGGGHHHH!
EDIT: Stopped trying to unlock The Kid. Ugh, not worth it. Made me ragequit the game for a loooooong while despite it being optional.
^ That feel.
seems legit
Are you a wizard? I was about to post that
Honestly though, there have been so many rumors about what Retro Studios is making for the Wii U that anything is possible by this point.
Isn't that the "Title Fight" guy? Why does he think people still take him seriously?
They're good at those.
^^^^^^^ Any true Meatboy player would stop giving a shit after they unlock Flywrench.
Flywrench > all.
Another Donkey Kong Country game would be nice, too.
It'd be interesting to see what Retro could pull off with their own IP. They've cemented themselves as a versatile studio with a great understanding and reverence of the IPs they use while innovating on those. To this day, I'm amazed that they so successfully turned Metroid into a first-person experience that nails the tone of previous entries.
Personally, I'd rather that Retro wasn't working on an existing IP, but in the process of creating a new one. If there's anyone who has a good chance to establish something new and successful, it's them. Frankly, I have no idea what it would be, but I'm sure they'd do a great job. As long as they give us something, really.
Wasn't he actually right about that though?
Well, it was true that they were making a SSB clone, as had been rumored for years, but he was claiming to be the one games journalist that Sony was actually telling everything, and most of the specific predictions he made were wrong.
1. is it good?
2. Is it worth spending six bucks on to get it on my 3DS?
Sounds like it's a digital copy you're talking about, not a hard copy. What features does it have beyond the basic game? For example, can you reassign the controls? Are the graphics updated? If not, is it in color?
Also, calling Unknown_Entity; he's played LA.
