... Bite me.
Don Zabu, has it ever occured to you that you might be one of those oversensitive nerds and that's why you get so ridiculously pissed off at anything that critiques nerd culture at all?
Except for Revenge of the Fallen.
Discussions on what it constitutes to be a nerd
Yep, I would second that opinion. Frankly, I do not really understand why people would self-label as "nerds" or discuss "nerd culture" like it is actually a monolithic thing. Sure, it might be nice to be part of a group, but given how often it seems (to me) that people criticize "nerd culture" despite labeling themselves as "nerds," I do not really see the point in acting like such a thing as "nerd culture" exists. I mean, I feel like people are individuals and the more we mark them off into neat little groups the more we lose our understanding of each person's sense of individuality.
It might just be that I just have not found a definition of "nerd" that I liked though.
To be fair, I haven't heard from many people who felt Revenge of the Fallen was a step up from the original Transformers, and it has affected their opinion of Michael Bay. I don't think all of those people are nerds.
Here in Texas, I hate the nerds that fanwar over Texas A&M and UT football...
Only nerds hate Seltzer and Friedberg?

Maybe. Or maybe I'm just a guy who thinks this sort of thing is getting old and stale.
