  Troper Tales are easily avoided. What I find more annoying are psuedo-witty Real Life sections on non-character tropes.

  "Catch phrases" are basically never cool except in fiction and even then it's usually only because they're silly.  In real life they can be at best just something you remember about a person, at worst really really annoying.
