Right now, I have this very nice one of Yoshika Miyafuji from Strike Witches. But I just have this random Kodomo No Jikan one....and I really would love putting it on.

But I'm on the fence kind of:

I've never watched KnJ, so I don't feel like I deserve to put it on. Using stuff from/based on a show you haven't seen just makes you a stupid scene poser.

Second, the quality is a little lower. So it may not look as good. It's still passable, though.

    Well, I can think of plenty of reasons the manga didn't end up getting sold in America...

    Still, it's good.  Read it, then watch the anime.  The anime changes a few things, mostly for the sake of being able to have an actual ending since the manga wasn't (and still isn't) over.  They especially changed Reiji's character a lot, which is kind of unfortunate since the manga version of Reiji was more interesting than the anime version, but there's nothing they really could have done about that since I'm not even sure if he got his character development yet by the time the anime came out, and even if he did they probably wouldn't have been able to fit it into the series.

    Doutei has a batch torrent of every Kodomo No Jikan anime thing.

    They also translated the drama CD, which is hilarious and definitely worth listening to.  Though of course you should listen to it after at least watching the anime (only the TV series, since the CD came out before the second season... which was really just 3 OVAs, so not much of a second season).

    And SaHa has a batch torrent of the whole manga (so far), so... yeah...

    It's not that hard to download everything again.

    But that's exception. In Japan, it's the rule. They just have such crazier and interesting plots than America's annoying obsession with realism.

    DYRE: Compared to most American YA fiction, a Mecha Harem novel series certainly is much more unique than American works.

    You're using an iPod Touch right?  Isn't the resolution 320 x 480?

    So... shouldn't the whole picture fit?  Since if you scale it down enough to fit horizontally, then it should actually end up 54-ish pixels too short, rather than being too tall.

    And you could also crop out the top part of the picture.  That's not even the actual logo for the series anyway.

    My Ipod touch has to dedicate about 10% of the space at the top and bottom to put the lock bar and Date/Time on. So it lets you zoom in and use a crop of the image for the space. The pic wouldn't fit at full size, so I zoomed in and used the top portion (The logo is obscured by the Date/Time bar).

    Only I wouldn't actually because hugging random 8-to-12 year-old girls for no reason is probably not a very good idea.

    Kuro has done quite a bit of crotch-kicking, especially in the anime.  So there's that.  Rin hasn't caused much physical pain, but is apparently scary enough to force a teacher to quit their job.  I guess.

    And anyway as for the second thing... I've probably done that too, so... um...

    But only hypothetical daughters since I don't want to have children ever.

    Unfortunately, according to AniDB, it doesn't look like any fansubbers released a DVD version.

    There are plenty of Blu-Ray versions, but since I assume they're all 720p or 1080p, you probably won't want them since your computer can't handle that, right?

    Though, I guess you might be able to find raws of the DVDs.
