    Linux, to me, seems to be mostly used by stupid nerds who feel a need to be different (because all nerds love being differently while simultaneously wanting to put everyone into rigid class structures) for no fucking reason, so they latch on to a barely noticable OS so they can reassure mommy's statements of they were "special ed" while crying at their lack of social lives.

    Kind of like macfags...

    ...I don't have a very good opinion of Linux and Mac's userbases. Mainly because all I ever hear them do is scream about how Windows sucks.

    OS X and Linux barely noticeable? There are a ton of far more obscure operating systems floating around, like Bare Metal, that are less noticeable. In fact, OS X is almost synonymous with art majors.

    But the honest truth is that it doesn't really matter. Who the fuck cares what OS you use. It sucks.

    Especially if it's Windows.

    Chagen, there's a difference between having an opinion (like, say, not liking Linux or OS X or whatever) and saying it the way you did.  ...Or... whatever it was you said, since there was a lot more than just your preference of Windows in there.

    Let's see... hating someone for not having exactly the same opinions and preferences as you is, in fact, completely stupid and is not a very good way to make friends, since, and this might come as a shock to you, not everyone is exactly the same in every respect as you.  And yet, constantly you're saying you hate some large group of people based on... I'm not even going to say it's a generalization, because you're obviously just coming up with these reasons out of nowhere, or else you're deliberately picking non-representative samples.

    And any time anyone calls you out on it, you use the "it's just my opinion" defense.  The thing is, you definitely can criticize opinions, and since opinions reflect on the person holding them, you certainly can judge people for the opinions they hold.  So... that's not even a defense at all.
