  My thoughts exactly! He's featured on Chez Apocalypse, which has some of the better internet critics, so I decided to check out his backlog and saw this.

  
  

  I kept waiting for the "but no, that perspective is horrible, what are people who say things like that thinking?" but it never came.

  It all comes down to subjectivity, when there are such things as internet critics (and being the internet there as to be hundreds of thousands of those now) there are going to be very wildly varying opinions, and some of them are going to be at extreme perspectives that you can't even begin to wonder what were they thinking. Remember, no matter what exclusive list they're featured on, they're still just human.
