I dreamed that I was living i the basement of a homeowner who owned half of a duplex or something, or maybe rented half their house out to some other tenants, a family, whose porch I accidentally walked into once and then got into their house and stuff. I remember it was interesting seeing how someone else was living.

I hate it when a band releases two versions of a song and each one does something better than the other, but the better aspects of each version don't come together, or the differences in each aren't combined so that there are slight but nice verse differences.

So, I have to write a personal essay for one of my classes, and I'm actually beginning it with a reference to IJBM, and, in fact, a large portion of it will be about IJBM, I think (not, like, referencing individuals by name, but more a summary of its development and how that's coincided with my own personal development). Not sure what to make of this. >_>

Anyhow, it seems I'm supposed to be going to that office two cities away each weekday for at least half a year, despite having been told otherwise. Yeah, I wasn't sure I should've taken that thesis, but that seals the deal with an overkill.

^ Essentially: part of ecology deals with the rationalization of epidemics, and there's a funny similarity between parasitic spread, in a more demanding setting, e.g. a human body, and the spread of viruses on an epidemic scale.

Well, the similarity is because these disease vectors--bacteria, viruses, and fungi--are essentially parasites themselves. Their life cycle depends on drawing resources from a host, in this case, a human, without which they can't survive/persist.

It's just that they don't look like the usual (macro)parasites that we think of such as stomach worms.

I'm taking an ecology class right now and it's interesting how much of this is thinking of things that I already kinda know, but in totally novel ways.
