    Who, me? I didn't not watch it because I have something against it or anything. I just got distracted. Perhaps I will actually watch it, eventually.

    (What actually happened was somebody -- on another forum -- posted a link to the first episode on YouTube. I was going to watch it, but I decided to finish reading the thread first. By the time I was done, I'd forgotten about it.)

    As a pony fan I will admit the show is not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it is enjoyable. It does have morals, but fortunately gets the real obvious stocky ones (e.g. my pet-peeve "Be Yourself", even if it is presented well) out of the way first.

    The art is a treat to look at (it seems to take cues from The Powerpuff Girls and Happy Tree Friends) and the characters all have a lot of thought put into them and there are some really funny bits.

    As someone who has never seen the show, I find the fanart sufficiently humorous that I like it on that basis.

    I watched a few episodes of the show, and I thought that it was very well made, but no where near as funny as people were making it out to be, certainly not in the same league as its creator's pedigree would imply.

    I started in order, because I'm weird and obsessive, and only made it past the first few episodes because I was told it got better. And you know what, it did. Can't remember the exact episode when I knew I was "hooked" though.

    I'm wondering why this show got such a big, obsessive fandom while Faust's other (better, IMO) shows never did, at least not to this agree.

    Maybe part of it is that it's a great source of reaction images, and reaction images are enjoyable to internet people.

    Adventure Time is a better show, but the fandom is less active, so you don't see the fans surface as often.

    It got six seasons, tons of merchandising and advertisement and was pretty much CN's flagship during its run. So yes.
