    I stand on Grendel's shoulders
First of all. I fucking hate the color green. Green is the shittiest
color of all of them. Sorry to say, but it's true. It's as boring as
    this response.

    >Implying that green is anything less than a beautiful color

I use >Implying because, like many other communication-oriented memes such as facepalm, it's an effective and succinct way of getting my point across. It's really not that much different from using quotes, proverbs and idioms to make a point--difference being that the communication-oriented memes are newer, and they originate from the internet.
  • You can change. You can.
It's really not that much different from using quotes, proverbs and idioms to make a point

I'd say that's even more annoying, most of the time.

oh, and also, a key difference between >Implying and facepalm is that >Implying is at least variable.

    I stand on Grendel's shoulders
That might be why I don't use facepalm as much as >implying.

Then again I don't actually use >implying that much either.
