    Meta Four is more of a logistics man than one who goes brandishing a mod hat a la Madrugada and Fighteer.

    Also, Ironeye mods Ventrilo and has some mod powers in the forum. So he works mostly to get info. As he's a relaxed fella, asking him things is not a bad thing.

    Also, I'd venture to say that the only bad mods TvT has are Eddie, Madrugada and Blackcat. Thing is, this people are the three most powerful mods. So you see, right there, the issue.

    I guess I retract the comments on Meta and Ironeye, but I haven't heard much about them, which couldn't lead me to believe they do a lot of moderating.

    You have three types of mods: Good mods, bad mods, and mods who don't go against the mods they see as their superiors. Bobby G and Morven are the first; Eddie, Madrugada and likely Blackcat are the second; the rest are the third.

    The thing about Fighteer is that, beyond being an aggresive man, he is not exactly as prone to bad decisions as Madrugada, Eddie and Blackcat are, but sure let's add him.

    But they are superior. Blackcat and Madrugada hold Madrugada Rank. Meaning they're the only ones who can forum ban somebody and a lot of other powers they don't know about. It helps that they tend to be the ones who agree the most with Eddie too.

    In light of her apparent constant agreement with Fast Eddie and her flipping out over a few TRS discussions a few months ago, I would say yes, you're wrong.

    Yeah. But just because they're your superiors doesn't mean you shouldn't question them if they make bad decisions. Both Bobby and Morven have questioned bad decisions and tried to sort issues out before, which is why I respect them. The others, not so much.

    While an admin may be great, just so they can balance out Eddie, even the mods should be at least talking to him and trying to get him to consider things.

    I shall note I have seen both Meta Four and Blackcat back down when Eddie opposed them.

    The thing is, many times, Blackcat drops out of laziness. I've seen her do the whole "This is my POV on a subject. Kthnxbai" deal. She doesn't like arguing in general.

    Can't judge MetaFour because he only hangs in Media threads these days and the occasional TRS thread that interests him.

    Am I missing something? The "trolling technique" that's "obvious" to me is taking the name of someone who deleted it with this (under the assumption that it did what it said it would) and impersonating them.

    Presumably what he means is taking a name and then immediately deleting it to prevent anyone else from having it, but I'm really not sure what the point of that would be unless you run some kind of script to do it to thousands of them.

    Notice he says "edit history", not "post history". A tool that deletes the edit history could potentially be used for trolling, in the sense that you could go around vandalizing articles and then nuke your account to cover your tracks.

    I don't think "backing down from FE" is a good way to judge a mod. I mean, technically speaking, he is the guy in charge.

    I've never seen her post, but just based on that fact, I'd say she sounds pretty smart.

    Of course, intelligence does not necessarily translate to good decision making, but from what I remember, she was more willing to make amends than Eddie.
