I gotta admit, lately I haven't liked Yahtzee. There was a time when he was a complainy complainypants but also a really funny one, like the Angry Video Game Nerd but with a different style. I mean I still crack up at the review he did entirely in Limerick or his fake DNF review. But his more recent reviews seem to be lacking something. They're not funny anymore and its harder and harder to get a handle on what he's even bitching about now. Like his Ocarina of Time review--I watched it, but not a single complaint made sense to me. I think that the combined weight of his videos and his editorial column has caused him to become a guy who just looks for shit to bitch about and that's caused him to become very dull, and his metaphors are starting to come off as kind of recycled. Ugh. Yahtzee really needs a break. Seriously. Take a month off and get some of your groove back.

    Why do people forget that reviewing is not just "Lol I get paid to watch movies"?

    It's suffering endless shit in order to find an average movie that feels so good that you kinda think that God, the Buddha and Allah exist at the same time and actually care for the world. 

    EDIT: Replace watch movies with plaing games because lazy.

    Yeah, but it's not like being a movie critic for a newspaper where you have to watch and review every major movie that comes out. Yahtzee can pick and choose the things he wants to review, and the fact that he still picks games that he hates and has nothing to say about bugs me.
