  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
The hell it was! Mine is the collective reactions of every sensible person watching Smallville condensed into a single .gif!

We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year
"Sensible person" meaning "person with similar tastes to Malkavian." :p
  • You can change. You can.
     every sensible person watching Smallville

I do not understand your statement. I know what the individual words mean, but the combination of them is problematic.

MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
^^I'm unaware of a different definition of the word. =P

^Okay, you know how when there's a car crash and then a train crashes into that and then a plane falls on that? You know how it's just horrific and the worst thing ever yet you can't pry your eyes away?
  • Glaives are better.
Gladstone's article on Jews in comedy pissed me off. And the one about gay marriage was stupid.
  • They're somethin' else.
Why the David Wong hate as of recent? All i really have against him is him thinking he's some sort of video game Nostradomus. Oh, that, and how the "Never Simplify" aesop in his Monkeysphere article gets broken within the same bullet point.
  • You can change. You can.
Because he's probably the most cynic and preachy of the columnist.

I don't think he's particularly bad, but he can get grating.
  • I started getting annoyed at him around the time he blamed all the woes of this generation on 80s sports movie montages.
  • They're somethin' else.
^ I'd have to admit, that's pretty bad, and goes against that stupid "deal with it" schtick he presented in...

No, he kinda said the same thing in that 10 things they don't teach you in school article too. Yeah, fug um.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
    ^ YES! Thank you.

Ah, this brings me back to when Cracked was actually worth reading. I thank you all.
  • You can change. You can.
Brockway is great stuff. Bucholz is good too.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
On the note of Brockway, his book was really good, too.
  • Glaives are better.
Brockway and Bowie are both good. But whenever DOB talks about the internet, I want to punch him.
  • Oh my fucking god.

That Text-Adventure one may have been the funniest thing I have ever read in my entire life.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
It's my favorite thing that has ever been posted on Cracked.
  • I love how it has three different jokes (The Text Adventure, the virus, and the IM chat), and still manages to be funny.
  • I love how his first response to nearly everything is "kill".
  • I agree with the sentiment Myrmidon.
  • I like Cracked, the articles amuse me...but I don't find it funny.
  • ^ Wait, the articles amuse you but you don't find them funny? How does that work?

Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
Because they are entertaining to read but because they're funny?

I mean, I like reading Cracked but I very rarely actually laugh at their jokes.
  • They're somethin' else.
Too many dick jokes and eldritch non sequitors for me to find them gut bustingly hilarious.
  • I dunno. I find Cracked to be one of the funniest sites on the Internet.

  • They're somethin' else.
I'm not saying they're NOT funny. But maybe I could see the build up to those eldritch dick jokes a little too easily.

Despite it being a bit self contradictory towards the end, my favorite article is still the Monkeysphere.
  • I like the information in them, I like the way the writers write, and occasionally it'll get a chuckle from me. Just not often.
  • I've never gotten the way people treat David Wong like he's some kind of prophet. Read the comments; his fans come away from his articles feeling downright reformed.
  • Hey, I didn't know that all my failures can be put at the feet of The Karate Kid and the Rocky franchise until David Wong told me of the pernicious evil that is montages.

Because using a cool eighties song and a bunch of  short cuts to show a compressed version of a work-out instead of just showing us every goddamn minute of it is totally false advertising, and was what caused the entitlement so rampant in our generation.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I also like how it asumes that the generations before 80s montages had no entitlement issues.
