    Huh...I hadn't thought about that. They're so different in so many other ways that it just hadn't occurred to me.

    Funnily enough, the similarities between them are mostly spoilers, meaning the two start out completely different and get more similar over time.

    ^The lite is easier to find these days and has a brighter screen. The phat fits better in my hands though. The DSi and the XL can connect to the internet with WPA and has DSi ware. Though the 3DS has that too.

    If you want a DS and just a DS. I'd say the lite is your best bet.

    The 3DS gets a pass in my book for playing 3DS games, though.
