Glee

There was a time where I heard nothing bad said about it.

Now I never hear any good said about it.

Did the show change, or did I just gradually shift my social circles?

  • You can change. You can.

It changed. And by "It changed", I mean, "People got tired of it."

  • I saw one episode and I hated it within about five minutes. Couldn't even finish it.

At first it was lame high school drama overlaid with fun musical numbers.    Of late, the novelty of the music wore off, their choices of music have been less interesting, and the drama got lamer.  So yeah.

Really though, the most irritating thing about the whole thing is that the show inspired copycat Glee Clubs in high schools and colleges, and damn near all of them are as bad as bad gets.  Like, I've seen random schmucks in the bar across the street sing better than that.

  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
Glee taught my little sister the magic of watching things ironically.
