    Yeah, and how practiced the application is. Well-done/time-consuming makeup can make a very huge difference.

    I actually don't like it when someone I know uses a lot, even if it's well-done. Makes them look less attractive, due to the mere-exposure effect.

    I rather dislike lipstick.


     


    Sometimes I wonder if it has to do with my watching animated productions, since animated characters' mouths are rarely prominent (if closed), and lips almost never so.
