I'm thinking of going up to them and reciting this, and seeing how long it takes for them to figure it out:

If the question is "how long will it take them to recognize this monologue?" the answer is instantly. If the question is "How long will it take them to realize that the loanwords have been replaced?" then the answer is never in a goddamn millennia.

Hell, this is nearly along the lines of what I study, and I couldn't piece it together. Etymology of an entire language involves a lot of obscure information.
