    Anime and manga have Harem genre. Videogames have dating sim.


     


    He is more pimp, a great deal of the game is having the main character pimp his way through life, a nurse, a widowed step-mom, and old widow, a kid that needs a tutor, the crush obssesed former obese girl, the guys from the sports clubs...music and art club....

    Actually, I think video games can be in the harem genre.  Usually it's redundant since such games tend to be visual novels or dating sims and those terms tend to imply harem elements anyway (and because video games are more often classified by their gameplay than by story elements), but it's certainly possible to have a game that is not a visual novel or dating sim in which there are a large number of characters romantically or sexually interested in the protagonist at the same time.


    That said, all I meant was that if the Persona 4 anime had elements of harem anime, then that would hardly be a surprise considering how every single girl in Persona 4 wanted the protagonist's cock.

    The thing is, DYRE, what makes a harem story is that at least a bunch of girls interested in the main character at the same time. Most of the time, in a dating sim, pursuing one girl doesn't mean you get all the other girls fawning over the main character. It certainly can happen, but it is not a standard set on stone, and there is also a bunch of other small detailst that make the main character a harem lead, usually, helplessness and thickskulls. You can have a game with harem elements, but that doesn't make it into a harem game.

    Nanako is best girl.


    Also in the game she's the only one that says she wants to marry you, which means she's more serious about your relationship than the other girls are.  Clearly.
