In every Mystery Hunt, we always find some puzzles that we've mostly solved--we've done all the work, decoded all the clues and everything--but we just can't seem to get that last step, reconstructing the puzzle so that we can get a solution out of it.
Like, in this year's puzzle Star Search, we noticed the relation between the wordsearch results and the star names. We came up with the letters left over. They spelled out a bunch of words. We even tried anagramming it into Marilyn Monroe something. That didn't work.

AAAAAAGHHHH I was fooling around with a bunch of timestamps right before I left and I thought that might be it but I didn't get time to post it before my internet went wonky and I had to leave
Not getting Audio Games was my fault; I misnotated/misconverted a few timestamps. Without Marble Madneess and with two wrong answers, that left us really confused.
