    What kind of tv? I had that problem with oblivion and it was fixable.

    I think we've had it for years.

    It's not ancient, but it's not new either. I don't have this problem with most games, but now and then I get a game that was clearly made for hdtv and I can barely make the text out.

    Ah, yep. Same problem.

    In oblivion, the aspect ratio defaulted to hd but was adjustable. Don't remember how.

    I remember I used to have this problem with Mass Effect before getting an HDTV; it was so awesome when I did (especially since it was also twice the size of the old one).
