I killed a bug

I saw what looked like a ball of fluff on my hoodie, so I picked it up.  It turned out it was a small fly, and its abdomen and one of its wings broke off in my hand.  It lay there flailing around a bit, so I killed it to put it out of its misery.

Why the hell do they have to be so tiny and fragile?

Aww, I hate doing that too!  Maybe you should start carrying a pair of safety-tweezers with you in the future.

I can't kill bugs. Unless they attack me in which case I've usually swatted it before I knew my hand was moving. I still feel bad when I do it accidently, or even when, say, a fly is struggling to stay alive in my proximity.
