    When I was a wee lad, I read "Where the Wild Things Are".  In it was featured the phrase "Boom chaka laka laka boom chaka laka laka".

    For many years, I thought that every appearance of "boom", "chaka", and "laka" together was a reference to this book.

    Only later did I realize that this was just a stock "savages' rhythm", not unlike "abracadabra" for magic spells.
