This year's Christmas commercials

edited 2011-12-07 03:44:36 in Media

The only thing funny about this commercial was the guy at the end who continued the song -normally- in an attempt to lighten the mood.

Poor Santa. Congratulations, lady, for showing up the selfless guy that works all year to spread joy and goodwill. You sure showed him.

what about family values, man? D:

  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
Why not have two of the more prominent UK Christmas adverts:

Marks & Spencer (A fancy department store):

I hate this automatically as it features X factor singers.
Although usually M&S adverts seem well received by the general population.

John Lewis (Another fancy department store.)

    Meh.
Although I like the speculation that in the box is a dog's severed head.
  • Eh, I don't think it's all that big of a deal.

  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
    Christmas commercials are always terrible.

Of course my favorite Christmas special involves  a killer robot santa rampaging through New York and Santa trying to keep children from being corrupted by the devil while a slacker and a pair of robots mock him respectively.
