People can't read between the lines on posts

You see, an post is never actually what it seems. When someone says one thing, usually, they mean an entirely different thing.

You may have to consider the source. For instance, when a when a woman says "there is sexism against both men and women in the world," she means "all women are victims of oppression from all men." Similarly, when a man says "there is sexism against both men and women," he means "all men are victims of oppression from all women."

You may also have to look at the psychology behind the post. For it is a well-known fact that no post is ever made unless there is anger, hatred, pride, or insecurity behind it. Figure out which of the four is behind the post, and then you simply have to point out the emotion behind it to refute it. No need to deal with the actual facts.

Another very effective strategy is to determine which type of propaganda a post is. For you see, all people's ideas are entirely made up of party lines, and all from the same political party, and anything that informs an opinion that you don't like is merely propaganda. For instance, if a poster says "The sky is blue," why, [insert political party you don't like here] also believes that the sky is blue. This proves that the poster is a blind follower of [party]. There you have them! Labelling the post [party] propaganda also constitutes a refutation of it.

Sometimes, it's really hard to determine what a poster means, because they say A consistently, support A with arguments, and have contacts who also say A, but deep down, you know that they really mean Z. Don't hesitate to point that out to them. Grab hold of some snippet from one of their posts, and infer Z into it, whether it is pro-Z or anti-Z in context.

Of course, when you're so confused you don't know what to believe, at least you know who to believe. So believe the people who you personally like, and disbelieve the others.
