Makes me want to shoot myself.

I already made this thread, didn't I?

  • Wait till you get to multivariable calc.  You get to draw 3D surfaces, attempt to give perspective via shading, and highlight cross-sectional loci.

Suddenly I am reconsidering studying math when I go to university.

    Stupid forum glitching up.
  • Yes, visualizing in 3-D is a pain in the butt. Luckily, electrodynamics only requires relatively basic vector calculus (namely cross products), but finding Brillouin zones in solid-state physics was annoying.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
  • Yeah E&M was never particularly strenuous with having to draw -- it helped (sometimes a lot) to visualize things, but you didn't need to be da Vinci or anything.  Mostly it was just math 281-282 multivariable calc.
