    I think by "the munchies" she's referring to the marijuana side effect, right? That's the only place I've really seen the word used. (As opposed to just being hungry...)

    ^Yep. It starts off innocently enough, but seriously, it's a huge pain in the ass. Especially when you're craving something overly specific and wherever you normally get it from is closed because it's freaking 3 in the morning and neither you nor your friends can drive anywhere because you can barely stand up straight, she's babbling incoherently and he's asleep.

    It sucks.

    Not really.  I've played battleground on World of Warcraft drunken players.  While their ability to kill is suspect, they lighten the experience when we're losing badly with their banter.
