Damn, does this bug me. I can go through an entire day with a horrible case of writer's block, and yet suddenly between one and three in the morning I can get half of a ten page paper finished in less than an hour. Just a moment ago I think I finished up half of a short research paper that I've put off for a week, and I can bet you that by tomorrow afternoon I probably won't even be able to properly format the page header.

I used to have this thing where I'd get an idea out of nowhere and pursue it wholeheartedly.
