I've never completed Final Fantasy VII

They're somethin' else.
And I'd seriously like to remedy that.

I dunno, I just kinda stop playing after Midgar, come back to it and start all over again.

  • I never finished it either, no worries.

I came super close to finishing IX when I was 8, but then my technologically-inept mom saved her Namco Museum shit over my blocks. DX
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    Haven't ever played it.

The only FF game I've made it more than two hours into before getting bored was IV, though, so I dunno if I ever will.

Am I the only one that notices the erie parallels to VII and the Berserk series?

^ Same here :/ The only FF I've ever completed was I, on the NES no less.
  • I got up to the bit where it decided "fuck JRPGs, this is gonna be a snowboarding game! :D" and closed the emulator... >.>
  • But you never had any to begin with.
...You quit because of a one off minigame?
  • Well, kinda. That was the final bit that made me shut it off, but there were a lot of other things I didn't like about it, the presence of an 'I win' button for one, also, I'm not really a fan of the stories of the 3D FF games (well, other than IX), which seems to be one of the main reasons to play a final fantasy game, since I'm sure as hell not playing it for the well balanced combat mechanics.
  • Kamen Rider MADOKA
I dunno. Play Tactics if you want to be a mechanics wonk in your JRPGs.
