"Posting any kind of furry art gets you banned on the spot".
I'm starting to get really tired of seeing this rule on sites.
WTF is with the internet and furries? I mean, yeah, have this kind of rule for NSFW art is fine, but instantly perma-banning someone for posting SFW Furry art is just dumb. Especially when they allow art of kemonomimi (I don't really know any good term for this in english that isn't stilted/overly long), which are basically halfway to furries anyway.
It's even more ridiculous when I see other-wise perfectly normal sites throw this rule out there. I saw a site with this rule:
"Posting CP or Furry gets you an instant permaban"

...I will never forget that image of Jirachi shitting out enough feces to make a new Jirachi
^ I'm not so sure - I think people have problems with the actual porn too. I mean, it's usually a bit more than Playmate of the Month or whatever. As for why other fetishes don't get that reaction on the internet (a) in some parts of it they probably do and (b) it's the "animal" element, which (irrationally or not) crosses the line for some people.
I don't mind those who like it setting up sites for the interested, but I wouldn't be comfortable being a member of a site with a lot of furry porn on.

Yeah, same.
Perhaps it's because in the mind's eye, a partner is still involved in rape roleplay, body modding, watersports and scat? And furry art seems to fall in the category of cartoon porn, thus conjuring images of the autismal ronery neckbeard fapping his days away, which hits a little too close to home for many of the sites most vocal about their distaste towards furries? At least, those seem to be the popular perceptions to me.
Three guesses who's company I prefer, no prize for getting it right.swf
