Term sometimes derogatorily refers to people outside of Japan having an excessive interest in Japan/Japanese culture.

Dunno what's racist about that unless behind it is the assumption that only the racially Japanese should have interest in this, or that the Japanese don't have a culture worth paying attention to, and you can't always really know whether that's the case.

The joke is that these employees in the company have a game called weeaboo where they paddle people, presumably triggered by mention of the game. This is what is causing them to start going bankrupt, but they don't care because they are too invested in the game.

"Weeaboo" is a word that first came to prominence on the internet through Perry Bible Fellowship's use of it shown above. Where the PBF creator(s) came up with the idea of using it is beyond me.

Wait, now he's saying that Wapanese is racist because....here's his direct reasoning:

"You know that "wapanese" is widely used, right?
If weeaboo's synonymous with "wapanese", then it specifically refers to whites.
It discriminates whites by putting it so their interest in Japan (granted, even though big) is specifically bad; ergo, it's racist."
